The son of owners Eddie and Vilia, Vyto Walz literally grew up in and around Symmetry. He knew from an early age he wanted to have a creative career—so, inspired by his parents’ work and leadership, he enrolled at the Aveda Institute Chicago to learn from the greats.

He specializes in cutting hair but loves formulating color, and being a talented amateur photographer himself, he also enjoys shooting his own work. He believes in personal development and attends every Aveda continuing education class he can, with the goal of becoming an Aveda Purefessional.

When he’s not in the salon, you’ll find him skateboarding, playing guitar, working on his photography, or hanging out with his Dad, who he says is his role model because “he’s super devoted—creative and in tune to every detail.”

Vyto loves working with his parents, but one of his favorite things about Symmetry is that the entire team truly feels like family.
